Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what information Carabao Brewing ("we", "us") collects when you visit carabaobrewing.com (the "Site"), how we use it, and the choices you have.
The Site tells you about our beer, our taproom The Pit Stop, and where to find Carabao on Guam. We don't sell anything through the Site, and you don't need an account to use it.
What we collect
Information you send us
If you email or call us, we receive your name, your email address or phone number, and anything you include in your message. We use it to reply to you and to keep a record of the conversation.
Your location, only if you ask
The Beer Finder has a button that sorts places by how close they are to you. When you press it, your browser asks for permission to share your location. The distance math happens in your browser: your location is not sent to us and we don't store it. You can say no and search by village or ZIP code instead.
Technical information
Like every website, the Site is delivered by a hosting provider, Cloudflare. When you load a page, Cloudflare receives standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, the page you asked for and the time. It uses this to deliver the Site and protect it from abuse. We don't use it to identify you.
Cookies and tracking
The Site does not set cookies and does not use analytics, advertising pixels or other trackers.
Other services the Site uses
- Maps. The Beer Finder map loads its map images from OpenStreetMap, so OpenStreetMap receives your IP address and the part of the map you are looking at. See the OpenStreetMap Foundation privacy policy.
- Videos. Our videos play from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), and only after you press play. Once a video is playing, Google's privacy policy applies.
- Email. Our email runs on Google Workspace, so messages you send us are stored with Google.
- Links. Links to Instagram, Facebook and Google Maps take you to those services, and their own privacy policies apply once you leave the Site.
How we use and share information
We use the information above to answer your questions, run and protect the Site, and meet our legal obligations. We don't sell or rent personal information. We only share it with the service providers listed above that help us run the Site and our email, or when the law requires us to.
We keep emails and messages for as long as we need them to help you and for our business records, and we delete them sooner if you ask and the law allows it.
Your choices
You can ask us what personal information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] and we'll get back to you.
Age
The Site is about beer and is meant for people of legal drinking age (21 and over on Guam). We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll post the new version on this page and change the date below.
